About Claire

Finance should give you clarity, not confusion

Made to Measure was built on the belief that finance should feel clear, structured and genuinely supportive.
At the point where a growing business needs more than bookkeeping, but isn’t ready — or doesn’t want — a full-time finance hire.

I’m Claire — an ACCA-qualified management accountant with over a decade of experience bringing structure and insight to complex financial environments.

I’ve worked in commercially demanding, high-profile environments — including within a Premier League football club …and more recently supporting scaling businesses with recurring revenue models and evolving operational complexity.

Across every role, the common thread has been the same: bringing calm, confidence and understanding to finance.

I operate as a financial partner — translating numbers into insight, structure and confident decision-making.

Throughout my career, I’ve overseen month-end processes, strengthened reporting frameworks, improved systems and translated numbers into decisions that matter. I’ve seen what happens when finance is reactive instead of intentional.

Made to Measure was created to do it differently.

I work with a small number of ambitious founders who want more than compliance.
They already have bookkeeping and statutory support in place — what they need is oversight, interpretation and financial leadership.

My background in management accounting means I focus on:

  • Insight over data dumps

  • Systems over spreadsheet chaos

  • Sustainable growth over short-term panic

  • Ownership over outsourcing and forgetting

I deliberately keep my client list small so I can be fully invested in the businesses I support.

I chose to build Made to Measure intentionally — working closely with a small number of clients so finance feels clear, considered and genuinely supportive.

This isn’t high-volume bookkeeping or reactive finance.
This is strategic financial support, tailored properly.

If you’re building something meaningful and want your numbers to support it properly, let’s start the conversation.
