That is still a useful outcome. Your report can give you specific targets to work towards, such as reaching a particular level of business income, building a larger cash cushion or reducing certain costs before reconsidering the decision.
CAN WE LOOK AT REDUCING MY EMPLOYED HOURS INSTEAD?
Yes. If reducing your hours is a realistic option, it can be included as one of the scenarios considered in your review.
DO I NEED FORMAL BUSINESS ACCOUNTS?
Not necessarily. I can work with suitable information from Xero, spreadsheets or other business records, provided there is enough reliable information to complete the analysis.
DO I HAVE TO SHARE ALL OF MY PERSONAL SPENDING?
No. I need a realistic figure for what the business would need to provide, but you won’t usually need to explain every individual household expense.
