I’ll review your answers and recommend the most suitable package. I’ll confirm exactly what is included, the monthly price and whether any initial setup work is required.
COMPLETE YOUR ONBOARDING
You’ll receive clear instructions for providing access to Xero, bank feeds and the other records required. We’ll also agree the monthly timetable and communication process.
BEGIN YOUR MONTHLY SUPPORT
I’ll complete the agreed bookkeeping and provide the reports, commentary and support included in your package each month.
WHAT BUSINESS FINANCE PARTNER DOESN’T INCLUDE
Your exact monthly scope will be agreed before the service begins. Unless specifically confirmed, the packages do not include:
• Filing VAT or other tax returns
• Statutory accounts or individual tax advice
• Payroll processing
• Paying suppliers or authorising payments
• Credit control or collecting customer debts
• Extensive historical bookkeeping cleanup
• Legal, investment, pension or mortgage advice
• Daily bookkeeping or immediate-response support
• Unlimited analysis of major one-off decisions
• Work for additional businesses or legal entities
Where additional work is needed, I’ll explain what is involved and agree the cost before completing anything chargeable..

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED TO USE XERO?
Yes. Business Finance Partner is delivered using Xero because it provides the reliable, connected records needed for regular bookkeeping and reporting. The Xero account and subscription will belong to you.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PACKAGE I NEED?
Complete the Tell Us About Your Business form and I’ll recommend the most appropriate package based on your bookkeeping, reporting needs and business complexity. You won’t automatically be placed into the most expensive option.
WHY CAN THE SCOPE VARY BETWEEN BUSINESSES?
A business with one bank account and a small number of monthly transactions requires a different amount of work from one using several payment platforms or processing a higher volume of sales. Your agreed scope makes it clear what the monthly package covers.
IS THE MONTHLY PRICE FIXED?
Yes. Once the package and scope have been agreed, you’ll know your regular monthly price. We’ll only review it if the size or complexity of the business changes significantly, and any change will be discussed with you first.
CAN I MOVE BETWEEN PACKAGES?
Yes. If your business develops or you need more or less support, we can review whether a different package would be more appropriate.
DOES THIS REPLACE MY YEAR-END ACCOUNTANT?
Not necessarily. I can keep your records organised and provide regular business reporting, while your accountant or tax adviser completes the statutory accounts and tax work for which they are responsible.
DO YOU FILE VAT RETURNS?
No. I can maintain the underlying records and provide information for your accountant or other authorised adviser, but VAT-return filing is not included.
WHAT IF MY BOOKKEEPING NEEDS CLEANING UP FIRST?
I’ll review the position during the enquiry and onboarding process. If significant historical work is required, I’ll explain what needs to be completed and provide a separate price before your monthly service begins.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REPORTS?
We’ll agree a monthly timetable during onboarding. Receiving reports on time depends on all required information and records being available by the agreed date.
WILL WE HAVE A MONTHLY MEETING?
No. The service is designed to work asynchronously through written commentary, email and voice notes. You’ll receive explanations you can read and refer back to when it suits you.
